My name is Naing (William) Lin Aung.
I’m a UX Designer & Researcher.

I have always seen myself as a systematic thinker, but my journey through architecture and digital media proved that creativity and logic go hand in hand. While studying Architectural Studies at the University of Toronto after traveling all the way from Yangon, Myanmar, I discovered my passion for collaborative problem-solving and designing digital experiences rather than physical spaces. This realization led me to pursue a Master of Digital Media at Toronto Metropolitan University, specializing in UX Design and Research.

Beyond academics, I have actively honed my skills through Designathons, a UX certificate program, and a UI design internship, continuously expanding my expertise in human-centered design.

Design Philosophy

"The result isn’t the reward—the journey of designing is."

I believe in creating accessible, research-driven, and efficient user experiences that empower people—especially in education. Having navigated both undergraduate and graduate studies, I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful design can transform learning experiences. With a strong foundation in user research, systems thinking, and interaction design, I am dedicated to making digital experiences intuitive, inclusive, and impactful.
